Earthquake in Barkhan Triggers Swift Relief Operations, Authorities Mobilize Emergency Teams

A morning earthquake in Barkhan today affected multiple villages, prompting immediate relief operations under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Barkhan Abdullah Khosa, directed by Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran.

Rescue teams, along with tents, blankets, food, and medical supplies, were dispatched to Union Councils Baghaw and Rarkan and surrounding villages to provide immediate humanitarian assistance. Temporary shelters have been set up, ensuring access to clean drinking water, food, and medical care.

Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran instructed authorities to leave no affected person unattended and utilize all available resources for timely assistance. He emphasized that effective coordination between administration and local communities is key to the swift rehabilitation of disaster-hit areas.
