Rawalpindi, 26 October 2025: The Armed Forces of Pakistan solemnly commemorated the 77th martyrdom anniversary of Naik Saif Ali Janjua Shaheed, Hilal-e-Kashmir, honoring his extraordinary bravery and supreme sacrifice for the nation.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff; General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, NI, NI (M), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee; Admiral Naveed Ashraf, NI, NI (M), Chief of the Naval Staff; and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, NI (M), HJ, Chief of the Air Staff, paid profound tribute on behalf of all branches of the Armed Forces.

Naik Saif Ali Janjua Shaheed displayed unparalleled courage and steadfast resolve while defending the strategically critical Pir Kaleva Ridge against relentless Indian offensives during the 1948 conflict. His selfless heroism and unwavering dedication continue to inspire generations of Pakistani soldiers committed to safeguarding the country’s sovereignty.

This solemn occasion also honored all valiant members of the Pakistan Armed Forces, whose sacrifices exemplify unmatched devotion to duty, courage, and the defense of the homeland.
