Gwadar Administration Ensures Steady Water Supply from Multiple Sources

GWADAR, Oct. 26: According to a district administration report, the water supply situation in Gwadar has stabilized through coordinated measures by multiple agencies. The Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) has supplied 1.38 million gallons of water via pipeline from Shadi Kaur Dam to the Airport Pumping Station.
Similarly, 1.9 million gallons were delivered through 149 water bowser tankers from Mirani Dam, while the GPA desalination plants provided an additional 184,000 gallons to various parts of L-Town.
The Public Health Engineering Department (PHE) supplied 350,000 gallons through its Sunt Sir–Pileri pipeline, benefiting residents of Pileri Abdul Rahim Bazaar and Peshkan Konarki Bazaar. Moreover, 92,000 gallons were distributed through 18 bowser trips to Chib Kalmati, Chib Rekani, and nearby areas.
The report also noted 126,750 gallons supplied to Jiwani through 14 tankers from Kalatu. The administration affirmed that all relevant departments are maintaining close coordination to ensure the continuity and efficiency of the city’s water supply network.
