DERA MURAD JAMALI: Under the direct supervision and special interest of Chairman of Municipal Committee Mir Safdar Khan Umrani and Chief Officer Saleem Khan Domki, extensive cleaning operations are underway at the city’s main drains, water pumping stations, and retention ponds.
The municipal committee has launched a large-scale campaign to improve the city’s drainage system, with comprehensive cleaning of wastewater drains, pumping stations, and underground reservoirs to ensure smooth water flow for citizens.
Chairman Mir Safdar Khan Umrani emphasized that maintaining cleanliness and an efficient drainage system is a top priority. He directed the cleaning staff to ensure all main drains are cleared promptly and effectively to avoid any emergency situations.
Chief Officer Saleem Khan Domki stated that despite limited resources, the municipal committee is working tirelessly day and night for public welfare. Citizens have been urged to cooperate with the campaign and refrain from disposing of waste into drains, ensuring the city remains clean and hygienic.
Residents have welcomed the initiative, expressing hope that if such efforts continue consistently, Dera Murad Jamali could become a model city in terms of sanitation and drainage management.
