Thatta Police Arrest Suspect Accused of Assaulting 4-Year-Old Girl After Viral Social Media Report

Thatta Police have arrested a suspect allegedly involved in the assault of a 4-year-old girl in the jurisdiction of Garho Police Station, following swift action initiated after the incident went viral on social media.

SSP Thatta Farooq Ahmed Bajarani took immediate notice of the disturbing report and directed concerned officers to ensure the suspect’s arrest and register a case without delay.

SDPO Garho DSP Abdul Rauf Nohriyo and SHO Inspector Saeen Dinu Burro, along with other officers, visited the crime scene in Village Wahid Dino Mangnhaar, met the victim’s family, and recorded their statements.

According to the victim’s father, Mumtaz Mangnhaar (Arfani), the accused, Aqeel son of Shakeel Mangnhaar (Arfani), took his 4-year-old daughter under the pretext of playing, assaulted her, and fled.

The police shifted the child to Rural Health Center War for medical examination and registered an FIR at Garho Police Station. Swift action by the police led to the arrest of the accused from Village Wahid Dino Mangnhaar.

The Thatta Police spokesperson confirmed that further legal proceedings are underway and the case is being investigated with utmost seriousness to ensure justice for the victim
