QUETTA: The Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, paid one-day visit to Sanjavi on Sunday.
During the visit, the Chief Minister reviewed ongoing development projects, public facilities, and educational institutions in the area.
He was accompanied by Provincial Minister for Food, Noor Muhammad Domar, Sardar Kohyar Domki, Parliamentary Secretary Wali Muhammad Noorzai, Mir Asghar Rind, Secretary Lal Jan Jaffar, Secretary Dawood Khilji, and Deputy Commissioner Ziarat Muhammad Riaz Khan Dawar.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the new block of Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Sanjavi.
He inspected various departments of the hospital and reviewed the available medical facilities.
The concerned oficials briefed him in detail about the hospital’s management system, staff performance, equipment availability, and overall healthcare services.
Expressing satisfaction with the facilities provided to patients, the Chief Minister said that the Government of Balochistan is implementing comprehensive reforms to improve the healthcare system. He directed the concerned authorities to take concrete steps to enhance all areas of medical care so that quality healthcare services are accessible to people at their doorstep.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated the Government Girls Inter College Sanjavi, emphasizing that no society can achieve true progress without promoting girls’ education.
He stated that education remains one of the provincial government’s top priorities so that the youth of Balochistan—especially female students—can play an active role in the country’s development. Strengthening educational institutions for girls in underdeveloped areas, he added, is a core part of the government’s policy, with significant improvements being made in educational infrastructure, staff availability, and facilities.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti also visited the Government Polytechnic College Sanjavi, expressing satisfaction over the project’s progress.
He instructed the concerned department to complete the under-construction project by June 2026.
He informed that Rs. 58 million has already been released, while an additional Rs. 90 million would be provided to ensure timely and quality completion of the project.
The Chief Minister also visited the Quaid-e-Azam Cadet College Sanjavi, where he was briefed on the college’s infrastructure, academic system, and ongoing construction work.
Highlighting the importance of the institution, he said it would become a center of modern education for students from Ziarat and Sanjavi.
He directed that this project should also be completed by June 2026, adding that its completion would not only provide educational opportunities to local students but also serve as a milestone for promoting quality education in Balochistan.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti added that bringing real development to key areas like Ziarat and Sanjavi-especially in infrastructure, education, and healthcare-is among the top priorities of the Balochistan government. He stressed that public welfare projects reflect the government’s vision, and their timely completion will significantly improve people’s quality of life.
