Govt’s decision of conversion of “B” Areas into “A” necessary to ensure peace & stability in Balochistan, says CM

QUETTA: The Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has stated that the provincial government is ensuring the effective and equitable use of resources in all its policies so that people in the remote areas of the province can have access to basic facilities at their doorstep.
Addressing a public gathering in Sanjavi area on Sunday.
He visited Sanjavi on the invitation of Provincial Minister for Food, Noor Muhammad Dummar.
The Chief Minister maintained that the people of Sanjavi-AC beautiful yet remote area-deserve every basic facility, and it is the top priority of the Balochistan government to improve the standard of living of the local population.
He expressed satisfaction that the provincial government is taking practical steps for the development of health, education, and infrastructure.
He announced that the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Sanjavi would be expanded and upgraded into a fully functional 20-bed hospital, which would also be strengthened through public-private partnership to provide quality healthcare services to the people.
The Chief Minister also announced the provision of two new buses for the boys’ and girls’ colleges of Sanjavi to facilitate students and staff in transportation.
In addition, he announced the construction of an Administration Complex.
Speaking about the promotion of education, he said that 14 inactive schools in the Sanjavi and Ziarat areas are being fully reactivated and will become operational after the winter vacations.
He added that teacher shortages are being addressed immediately, and recruitment and posting are being carried out strictly on merit to improve the quality of education.
To further strengthen law and order, the Chief Minister announced the establishment of four new police stations. He said that the government’s decision to convert “B” Areas into “A” Areas may seem unpopular but is necessary for ensuring peace and stability in the province.
On the longstanding demand of the people, the Chief Minister also announced the early resolution of Sanjavi’s land settlement issue and the construction of the Sanjavi Bypass Road.
He said that the proposal to grant district status to Sanjavi is also under consideration, and when new divisions and districts are formed, Sanjavi would be included on a priority basis.
He further announced the construction of new blocks and the provision of four new buses for Quaid-e-Azam Cadet College Sanjavi to provide better educational and transport facilities to students.
The event was attended by provincial ministers, parliamentary secretaries, senior civil officials, tribal elders, notables, and a large number of people.
