Lahore, November 4:
DIG Central Zone, Syed Fareed Ali, conducted a surprise visit to the Central Zone Beat Office, emphasizing strict enforcement against smoke-emitting vehicles and timely support for stranded road users as the fog season approaches.
During the visit, a public hearing was held at the Beat Office, where officers’ issues were reviewed, and
administrative matters were assessed. Sector Commander Atif Shehzad briefed the DIG on operational and administrative affairs.
DIG Syed Fareed Ali interacted with newly recruited constables, instructing them to uphold the prestige of the police department and wishing them success in their careers. Following the office visit, he carried out a field surprise inspection, issuing directives to officers to take immediate and strict action against vehicles causing excessive smoke.

He also stressed the importance of providing swift assistance to road users facing difficulties during the upcoming fog season. Officers’ performance was appreciated, and they were urged to continue improving efficiency and service delivery.

The visit was attended by Sector Commander Atif Shehzad and Beat Commanders.
