Quetta, November 4, 2025: The provincial government of Balochistan is taking significant steps to modernize the Public Relations Department, ensuring improved performance and enhanced dissemination of government initiatives across the province.
Director General Public Relations, Noor Muhammad Khetran, stated that all divisional offices will be equipped with cameras, drones, laptops, and other modern office equipment to ensure efficient coverage of government activities and development programs. He emphasized that leveraging modern technology will not only enhance departmental efficiency but also highlight Balochistan’s positive developments nationally and internationally.
Khetran urged officers to utilize their professional skills to accurately and effectively showcase governmental efforts, thereby increasing public trust. “A well-equipped Public Relations Department is crucial for transparent communication with citizens, ensuring that information about development projects, welfare policies, and government initiatives reaches the public in a timely manner,” he said.
This modernization initiative aligns with the provincial government’s broader objective of improving citizen engagement and strengthening institutional accountability in Balochistan.
