The US Indo-Pacific Command confirmed that North Korea’s latest ballistic-missile test does not pose an immediate threat to the US mainland or allied territories.

However, it emphasized that the test underscores Pyongyang’s continued efforts to destabilize regional security. Washington reiterated its commitment to defend South Korea and Japan through “deterrence and strategic preparedness.”
