PM Shehbaz Hosts Dinner for Senators, Lauds Coalition Unity on 27th Constitutional Amendment

ISLAMABAD, Nov 9, 2025: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif hosted a dinner in honour of Senators from the government and coalition parties on Sunday, expressing deep gratitude for their collective role in ensuring the smooth passage of the 27th Constitutional Amendment.

Welcoming the Senators, the Prime Minister extended special thanks to President Asif Ali Zardari and the heads of all coalition parties for their cooperation and commitment to national unity.

> “All coalition partners demonstrated a true national spirit and played a vital role in strengthening the federation,” the Prime Minister said, adding that the amendment aimed to foster inter-provincial harmony, enhance governance, and protect the broader interests of Pakistan.

 

Shehbaz Sharif noted that all major milestones achieved under the current government were the result of mutual trust, coordination, and cooperation among allied political forces. He said Pakistan’s growing diplomatic recognition and improved image in the world reflected this unity and shared vision.

“Thanks to our joint efforts, Pakistan has achieved an enhanced international standing,” he remarked, adding that the country’s economic indicators are gradually improving.

The Prime Minister stressed that sustained political and economic stability had set Pakistan on the right course, saying, “By the grace of Almighty Allah, the country’s direction has been corrected. Now, everyone must work together for the nation’s progress and prosperity.”
