Provincial Minister Syed Fakhar Jehan Vows to Prioritize Public Welfare During Visit to Buner

PESHAWAR, Nov 9, 2025 (By Hamid Roghani): Provincial Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control, Syed Fakhar Jehan, reiterated his commitment to public service, saying that “people’s trust is my real strength and serving them selflessly is my mission.”

During his visit to Buner district, the minister met several delegations comprising elders, notables, community leaders, and party workers from Tehsil Mandanr, PK-26, and surrounding areas. The delegations congratulated him on his reappointment to the provincial cabinet and on being assigned the Excise and Taxation portfolio.

Syed Fakhar Jehan expressed deep gratitude for the affection and confidence shown by the people of Buner, stating that his political journey is centered around public welfare rather than personal gain. “True success lies in the love and prayers of the people,” he said.

He assured the delegations that he would work tirelessly to address public issues and development needs across the district.

The minister further noted that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi and in accordance with the vision of Imran Khan, the provincial government is working to transform Khyber Pakhtunkhwa into a model of good governance, transparency, and people-oriented development.

Local elders, while expressing their confidence, said that Syed Fakhar Jehan’s inclusion in the provincial cabinet reflects the respect and trust he commands among the people of Buner. They added that his dedicated and people-centered approach has brought a renewed sense of development and progress to the district.
