The Government of Balochistan reaffirmed its commitment to addressing humanitarian concerns related to Afghan refugees, emphasizing coordination with federal authorities and international agencies. Provincial officials stated that all assistance and repatriation processes are being conducted with dignity and humanitarian care.
A meeting chaired by the Home Department reviewed refugee data, security screening, and logistical arrangements at border districts. Officials said that law enforcement agencies have been directed to ensure smooth procedures while safeguarding national interests.
The provincial government reiterated that repatriation is a gradual process aimed at balancing humanitarian obligations and public welfare. “Balochistan has hosted Afghan refugees for decades and will continue to ensure humane handling during this transitional phase,” a spokesperson said.
