Islamabad, November 12, 2025: Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, held an open court at his office to directly address citizens’ grievances and ensure prompt resolution of their concerns.
During the session, DIG Muhammad Jawad Tariq highlighted that citizens can also register complaints through the IGP Complaint Cell (1715). He added that IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has directed all senior police officers to organize open courts across the district to strengthen public engagement and improve service delivery.
In accordance with these instructions, all zonal SPs are conducting open courts in their respective areas, ensuring that citizens’ concerns are heard and addressed effectively. DIG Tariq emphasized that Islamabad Police remain committed to actively reaching out to the public and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
He encouraged every citizen of Islamabad to openly present their grievances at these forums, reiterating that resolution of public complaints is the topmost priority of Islamabad Police.
