Agriculture Department Bahawalnagar organized the technology transfer event of Canola in Mauza Kot Himraj.

Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq, DDA(Ext) was the chief guest of the event.Rehan Alam, Assistant Directir Agriculture Extension Bahawalnagar welcomed the participants and briefed about the purpose of mega gathering and emphasized the farmers on inclusion of oilseed crops especially Canola crop in their cropping pattern. Muhammad Akram Yaqoob, Agriculture Officer (Extension) Bahawalnagar
discussed in detail about production technology of Canola with special management practices.He also discussed about weed & fertilizer management in wheat crop.
Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq, Deputy Director Agriculture Extensin Bahawalnagar thanked the farmers and discussed about Impact of Oil seed Crops on country’s economy. He also briefed about Punjab Kissan Card, Wheat Yield Competition, Tube well Solarization programme and other Government Policies.
More than100 farmers participated in the Seminar.
