Islamabad Food Authority Conducts Uninterrupted Operations Against Health Hazards

Islamabad: Under the directives of the Director Islamabad Food Authority, Deputy Director Operations led food safety teams in a major overnight raid in Malah Road, Bani Gala, where an illicit milk manufacturing facility was caught red-handed.

During inspection, teams recovered 15,000 liters of processed milk, 1,200 kilograms of ghee, 2,500 kilograms of skimmed milk powder, and 5 kilograms of other chemicals. The adulterated milk and ingredients were destroyed on the spot.

According to the Deputy Director of Islamabad Food Authority, cases have been registered against six individuals, and two were arrested at the scene. Citizens have been urged to immediately report any food-related operations they notice in homes or farmhouses.

Dr. Tahira Siddiq stated that the government is committed to ensuring safe and quality food nationwide, and the zero-tolerance policy against adulteration mafias is being implemented effectively.
