NHMP, Rescue 1122 Hold Road Safety Seminar to Mark World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims

Islamabad, November 20, 2025 — The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) officers of N-75 Murree Expressway, in collaboration with Rescue 1122 Murree, organized a road safety seminar at Aghosh College Murree to commemorate the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims.
Sector Commander Murree Expressway, Adeel Shehzad, attended the event and delivered a detailed briefing on road safety awareness. He emphasized preventive measures, responsible driving, and the importance of adhering to road regulations to reduce accidents.
Rescue 1122 teams conducted live demonstrations on emergency response, first aid techniques, and safe handling of road-traffic accident situations. NHMP officers also highlighted major causes of road accidents and stressed the significance of the three foundational pillars of road safety — Engineering, Education, and Enforcement (3Es).
The administration of Aghosh College praised NHMP and Rescue 1122 for their continuous contributions to public safety and road-safety awareness campaigns.
At the conclusion of the seminar, Sector Commander Adeel Shehzad distributed gifts among participants in appreciation of their engagement and commitment to road-safety education.
