A suicide attack targeting the Federal Constabulary (FC) Headquarters on Peshawar’s Saddar—Kohat Road was foiled on Monday morning, resulting in the martyrdom of three FC personnel and injuries to two others.

According to security officials, the assault began around 8:00 a.m. when a suicide bomber detonated explosives at the facility’s main gate. Two additional attackers attempted to force entry into the compound but were shot dead by security personnel during the exchange of fire. All three attackers were killed.

Emergency services shifted the injured to nearby hospitals, where they are undergoing treatment. Security forces immediately cordoned off the area, and a clearance operation is underway.

Officials say the swift response prevented the attackers from breaching deeper into the headquarters, potentially averting higher casualties. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.

Further updates are expected as investigations continue.
