A review meeting of the Balochistan Agricultural Income Tax Rules 2025 was held under the chairmanship of Senior Provincial Minister and Parliamentary Leader Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani. Other participants included provincial ministers, agriculture representatives, and secretaries of agriculture and revenue.
Mir Sadiq Umrani stated that the new rules enable farmers to pay taxes digitally, ensuring compliance with national tax laws. Farmers earning up to PKR 600,000 annually are exempt, while higher-income farmers will contribute accordingly. The meeting also reviewed provisions of the rules and gathered feedback to enhance implementation and increase provincial revenue.
