Jaffarabad, November 24, 2025 — The District Management Committee reviewed administrative, operational and transparency matters of the public library and TVET centre during a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Khalid Khan on Monday.
The committee examined maintenance, book procurement, budgeting and asset management, recommending strict oversight and improved monitoring. It also stressed staff appointments, training, community engagement and quarterly progress reviews.
Participants assessed TVET programmes run by WORDS NGO and emphasized transparent trainee selection, support for youth start-ups and merit-based decision-making.
Deputy Commissioner Khan said strengthening both institutions is essential to educational growth and economic opportunities, adding that the administration will prioritise public benefit and institutional accountability.
