ISLAMABAD, November 25, 2025 — President Asif Ali Zardari lauded security forces for a successful intelligence-based operation against 22 militants linked to what he termed an India-backed proxy group in Bannu. He praised the swift and effective response and said the ongoing counterterrorism campaign under Azm-e-Istahkam reflects strong resolve by the Pakistan Army and law-enforcement agencies. The President said eliminating militants receiving foreign support remains a top state priority and declared that the nation holds its martyrs and wounded defenders in high regard. Zardari paid tribute to the personnel who demonstrated bravery during the operation and said the nation stands firmly behind its security forces.
