QUETTA, Nov 25 — The Balochistan government is actively implementing measures to eliminate violence against women, with strengthened legal protections and support services, according to Advisor for Women Development, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi.

In her official statement, she said that emotional, social, and economic forms of violence are equally damaging and contribute to the erosion of confidence, autonomy, and security among women. She emphasized that a civilized society is defined by the level of safety, respect, and decision-making freedom granted to women.

Dr. Buledi said the provincial government is expanding awareness programmes, institutional capacity, shelter homes, counselling services, and helplines. She called for collective social responsibility to foster an environment where women can participate freely and without fear.
