QUETTA, Nov 26 — Commissioner Quetta Division, Shahzaib Khan Kakr, presided over a review of PSDP-funded projects in the district. Departments from agriculture, education, culture, irrigation, environment, labor, local government, minority affairs, energy, transport, and WASA provided updates on 114 new development schemes.
Officials briefed the Commissioner on tendering, fund releases, and project challenges. Shahzaib Khan Kakr directed all departments to expedite implementation, resolve stalled projects, and prioritize health, education, and water supply initiatives.
Transport officials reported expansion of public transport services, including 21 new buses, electric vehicles, and the Peoples Train service. The Commissioner expressed concern over absent departments and instructed letters to be issued to respective secretaries. He stressed that timely project completion in the public interest is the government’s top priority
