Pakistan Security Forces Neutralize 22 Indian-Backed Militants in Dera Ismail Khan Operation

Rawalpindi: On 26 November 2025, Pakistan’s security forces conducted an intelligence-led operation in Dera Ismail Khan District targeting militants affiliated with the Indian-backed group, Fitna al Khwarij.

During the operation, security personnel engaged the militants, resulting in the elimination of twenty-two Khwarij after intense gunfire. The area is currently undergoing sanitization to ensure no remaining operatives are present.

The operation forms part of Pakistan’s sustained counterterrorism campaign, Azm-e-Istehkam, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan. The campaign continues at full pace to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism and maintain national security.
