Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar on Tuesday called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), at General Headquarters (GHQ), where both sides discussed expanding Pak–Turkiye cooperation, particularly in the energy sector.
According to ISPR, the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral ties, exploring avenues for strategic collaboration, and reinforcing shared objectives for regional stability. The COAS underscored the historic and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkiye and appreciated Ankara’s consistent support at international forums.
Minister Bayraktar expressed Turkiye’s commitment to deepening cooperation in the energy domain and acknowledged Pakistan’s contributions toward regional peace, stability, and sustainable development.
