Balochistan Government Undertakes Major Initiatives Across Health, Water, Education, Anti-Corruption, and Cultural Sectors to Improve Governance, Public Services, and Community Engagement

Gwadar – Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetaran, visited the office of Secretary PHE, Hashim Ghalzai, for a detailed briefing on water supply issues in Gwadar. Chief Engineer Azam Zarkoon and Deputy Secretary Tanveer Jamoot were also present. Officials presented updates on desalination plants, supply pipelines, tanker services, and ongoing projects. The Minister emphasized that providing potable water to Gwadar residents is the government’s top priority and directed immediate measures to remove bottlenecks, ensure daily reporting of field team performance, and maintain accountability. He stressed that no lapse in delivering essential services to citizens would be tolerated and instructed enhanced coordination and effective strategies to ensure uninterrupted water and electricity supply.
