Under the directives of Deputy Commissioner Mansoor Ahmed Qazi, Assistant Commissioner Tehsil Barshore, Naveed Ahmed Baloch, led a two-day grand anti-narcotics operation targeting illegal cannabis cultivation in Killi Malekyar. Over 35 acres of illicitly grown cannabis were destroyed, with strict action taken against offenders. The operation involved joint efforts of the District Administration, Frontier Corps, and Excise Department. Thirty individuals have been registered under Schedule IV of the Narcotics Control Policy, with further measures underway. DC Qazi emphasized the administration’s commitment to eradicating narcotics cultivation and safeguarding public health. Confiscated land will be retained under government control, and operations will continue until all illegal cultivation is eliminated, reinforcing law enforcement and social welfare initiatives across Pishin district.
