Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto Arrives in Pakistan for Two-Day Visit

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has arrived in Islamabad for a two-day state visit. He was warmly received at Nur Khan Airbase by President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, federal cabinet members, and senior officials.

Upon arrival, President Zardari and Prime Minister Sharif greeted President Subianto with a warm handshake, while children in traditional attire presented flowers and held flags of both countries. The Indonesian leader was also accorded a 21-gun salute.

This marks President Subianto’s first visit to Pakistan. During his stay, he will hold delegation-level talks with the Prime Minister and meet President Zardari. Discussions will focus on strengthening cooperation in trade, investment, defense, health, education, IT, climate change, and culture. The visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Indonesia.
