BARKHAN, Dec 8, 2025 — Deputy Commissioner Barkhan, Abdullah Khosa, chaired a comprehensive District Coordination Committee (DCC) meeting to review ongoing development projects, including BSDI Phase-II, across the district. Senior officials, including Wing Commander 129 FC Colonel Muhammad Younis, Executive Engineer Roads & Buildings Fazal Muhammad Zarkoon, District Health Officer Dr. Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Bugti, and Assistant Director Local Government Muhammad Waris, provided detailed briefings on project progress, administrative efficiency, and public welfare initiatives.

The meeting focused on improving the speed, quality, and transparency of development work, covering road construction, health centers, sanitation, law and order, and urban services. Key decisions were taken to accelerate ongoing projects, with special attention to public benefits and interdepartmental coordination. Deputy Commissioner Khosa directed that all projects be completed within the stipulated timeframe and warned that any delays or negligence would not be tolerated. He pledged that the district administration will utilize all available resources to enhance service delivery and expedite development for the people of Barkhan.
