Religious Harmony and National Unity Are Pakistan’s True Strength, Says Governor Balochistan

QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has said that Pakistan is a beautiful blend of diverse religions and cultures, where all citizens are entitled to equal rights, dignity, and respect. He emphasized that religious harmony and national unity are the real strength of the country.
These views were expressed at a dignified Christmas ceremony organized in Quetta to pay tribute to Christian martyrs belonging to Balochistan, who laid down their lives for the country. Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and Corps Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmed attended the event as chief guests.
Addressing the gathering, the Governor and the Corps Commander lauded the supreme sacrifices of Christian martyrs and acknowledged the invaluable contributions of the Christian community towards national security and unity. They extended Christmas greetings to members of the Christian community and appreciated the spirit of solidarity, cooperation, and patriotism demonstrated by all religious communities in support of the Pakistan Army.
Speaking on the occasion, Pastor Asif Jan said that the sacrifices of Christian martyrs form a strong foundation for national cohesion and serve as a lasting reminder of unity among all Pakistanis. He termed the ceremony a meaningful opportunity to honor the services and sacrifices of martyrs.
The speakers reaffirmed that the Pakistan Army and the provincial government remain committed to promoting interfaith harmony, ensuring the protection of citizens, and working collectively for peace, stability, and development in the country.
The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks, as well as for Pakistan’s security, stability, and prosperity.
