Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Saturday commended security forces, Balochistan Police and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) for a successful operation against terrorists in Kharan district, calling it a strong demonstration of the state’s writ and commitment to public safety.
In an official statement, the chief minister said the arrest of three highly wanted terrorists during the operation marked a significant breakthrough and sent a clear message that there is no space for terrorism in Balochistan. He emphasized that the provincial government is working in close coordination with security agencies to dismantle terrorist networks completely.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti noted that the elimination of 700 terrorists across Balochistan this year reflects the professionalism, sacrifices and effective strategy of law enforcement agencies. He reiterated that decisive and indiscriminate action against elements disrupting peace would continue, while ensuring long-term stability, citizen protection and development in the province.
