RELIGIOUS MINORITIES ENJOY COMPLETE FREEDOM IN THE COUNTRY: DR. SHAM SUNDER K. ADVANI

KARACHI: Provincial leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh for Minority Affairs, Dr. Sham Sunder K. Advani, has stated that religious minorities in the country enjoy complete freedom to practice their faith and perform religious activities. He emphasized that the Pakistan Peoples Party firmly believes in the welfare and well-being of minority communities.
He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held at the Scout Auditorium, organized under the Ministry of Minority and Religious Affairs for the distribution of relief cheques among deserving members of the Christian community in connection with Christmas Day. Dr. Advani attended the event as the chief guest.
Dr. Advani said that the Pakistan Peoples Party would continue to fulfill its mission in line with the vision of its martyred leaders, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, and would leave no stone unturned in this regard.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, relief cheques were distributed among the beneficiaries. On the occasion, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh for Human Rights Rajvir Singh Sooda, MPA and Parliamentary Secretary Sindh Rooma Mushtaq, Secretary Anjum Iqbal, Director Aslam Khoso, and other guests jointly cut the cake and the national anthem was presented.
