Quetta, December 21, 2025 – The Regional Meteorological Center Balochistan has issued a weather advisory, warning residents of cold and dry conditions over the coming days. Temperatures in several districts, including Quetta, Ziarat, Pishin, and Qilla Saifullah, are expected to drop below freezing.
Northern and northwestern districts may experience cloudy and cold weather on Sunday, with light rainfall and isolated snowfall in higher altitudes. Overnight temperatures could fall by 3–5°C. Meteorologists reported precipitation in the past 24 hours, including 29.0mm in Qalat, 14.2mm in Pishin, and 12.75mm in Ziarat.
Authorities have urged citizens to take precautionary measures against the cold and exercise caution while traveling in hilly areas.
