QUETTA. Jan. 20In a significant move to enhance the quality of education in the region, the Reko Diq Mining Company (RDMC) has launched a 15-day professional training program for local educators. The program, which commenced on January 20, 2025, at the Progressive Education Network (PEN) RDMC in Nokkundi, aims to equip teachers with innovative teaching strategies and methodologies.
Conducted by experienced master trainers from the Provincial Institute of Teachers Education (PITE) Quetta, the program focuses on Early Childhood Education (ECE) and provides participants with essential knowledge and practical techniques. The initiative reflects RDMC’s commitment to fostering a culture of quality education in the region.
This program is part of RDMC’s broader efforts to contribute to the economic development of Balochistan, as evident from their recent recruitment drive for various positions at the Reko Diq copper-gold mine project ¹.
