Lahore, December 21:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lauded security forces for successful counter-terrorism operations against Fitna-al-Khawarij militants in Dera Ismail Khan and Bannu districts.
In a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, he appreciated the elimination of nine terrorists during separate operations and said security forces were achieving major successes under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision.
The prime minister said the entire nation stands united with Pakistan’s armed forces in the fight against terrorism and reaffirmed the government’s resolve to completely eradicate all forms of terrorism from the country.
