Peshawar, 25 December 2025: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s 149th birth anniversary, highlighted the enduring relevance of the Father of the Nation’s principles. Afridi said that faith, unity, and discipline are not mere slogans but the foundation of governance. He emphasized that Pakistan’s ideological framework ensures justice, self-reliance, and public welfare, and called for preserving these values to strengthen national stability.
The Chief Minister underlined that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s government is committed to transparency, merit, and social welfare while upholding rule of law, ensuring a fair and accountable administration. Afridi also acknowledged the ongoing challenges posed by regional extremism and reiterated the significance of following Quaid’s vision for a strong and self-reliant Pakistan.
On Christmas, Afridi extended warm greetings to the Christian community, praising their contributions in education, healthcare, and social welfare. He reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to protecting minority rights, ensuring religious freedom, and promoting interfaith harmony throughout the province
