Lahore () Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari has strongly reacted to PTI’s so-called “Street Movement,” stating that until last night, pictures from Bangladesh were circulated to create an illusion of success, but daylight revealed the complete reality.
The Information Minister said that those claiming a mass street movement “couldn’t find anyone in Lahore to even respond to their slogans — exposing their lack of public acceptance.”
Azma Bokhari added, “You have already toured Pakistan’s Europe — Lahore — extensively. For God’s sake, return now and let this city breathe. Lahore does not need to be burdened any further by your protocol theatrics.”
She further said, “Just as you rushed to Lahore, go back with the same enthusiasm and listen to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa — their grievances also deserve attention and relief.”
The Minister concluded that political drama, edited visuals and propaganda “are merely failed attempts to mislead the public — attempts that have already been silently rejected by the people.”
