Chakdara, Lower Dir: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, and President PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engineer Amir Muqam on Monday said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is working tirelessly to empower Pakistan’s youth, describing young people as the country’s greatest asset.
Addressing the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme Phase IV distribution ceremony at the University of Malakand, he said the initiative was launched under the vision of Nawaz Sharif and later revived and expanded by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif after 2022. He stressed that the scheme is strictly merit-based and transparent.
Engineer Amir Muqam said more than one million laptops have been distributed nationwide so far, adding that 600 laptops were handed over to deserving students of Malakand University on merit. He praised the university’s academic performance and assured full federal support for resolving its genuine issues, including improvements in educational and sports infrastructure.
