Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) athlete Haroon Masih delivered an impressive performance at the National Games 2025, earning a bronze medal in the wrestling competition and securing third position overall. Competing in the highly competitive 79kg weight category, Haroon showcased exceptional skill, strength, and determination throughout the tournament.
According to a PSCA spokesperson, Haroon Masih won three consecutive bouts in the early rounds, confidently advancing to the semi-final stage. In the bronze medal contest, he faced a strong opponent from the Pakistan Railways team and emerged victorious after a tough and closely fought match, underlining his technical ability and mental resilience.
In recognition of this notable achievement, Managing Director Punjab Safe Cities Authority Ahsan Younas met the athlete and praised his dedication and discipline. He announced a cash award of Rs.100,000 for Haroon Masih, stating that the wrestler’s success has brought pride and positive recognition to PSCA. He further expressed optimism that Haroon and other PSCA athletes will continue to represent the institution and Pakistan in national and international sporting events.
The medal was formally presented to Haroon Masih by Operations Commander SP Shafiq Ahmed, who commended his hard work and commitment to excellence. COO PSCA Mustansar Feroz and CAO Amara Athar also joined the ceremony, participating in a group photo and congratulating the athlete on his commendable achievement.
