Chattar, 31 December 2025 (Independent Report) — Activist Shabnam Umrani alleged that women were verbally abused and physically assaulted during a peaceful protest by Police Inspector Ali Nawaz. She described the actions as violations of Baloch social customs, constitutional rights, and human dignity. Umrani emphasized that protesters adhered to lawful, nonviolent methods to voice grievances. She condemned the use of force against elder women and called on Chief Justice of Pakistan, Chief Justice Balochistan High Court, Chief Minister, IG Police, and human rights institutions to investigate the incident impartially. Umrani warned that continued suppression of legitimate rights undermines public trust in justice. She reaffirmed her commitment to peaceful activism and stressed that intimidation will not silence women advocating for equality and lawful protections in Balochistan
