Chaman, December 31, 2025: Following recent rainfall and snowfall, both sides of the Koṛak Top section on the Quetta-Chaman Highway have been cleared by district administration, NHA, and PDMA heavy machinery. Traffic resumed without interruptions, and all light and heavy vehicles are operational.
Authorities advised residents to avoid unnecessary travel, warning of slippery roads due to freezing and possible accidents. The administration urged people to stay away from streams and rivers without proper bridges or safe access. A weather alert has been issued, recommending that residents remain indoors during snowfall, storms, or heavy rains.
