Over 80 Runners to Participate; Team Head Zahid Gul Confident of Strong Performance
Karachi: The Karachi United Runners are all set for the upcoming Karachi Marathon scheduled to be held on 4th January 2026, with the team’s preparations in full swing. Speaking on the occasion, Team Head Zahid Gul expressed satisfaction with the team’s training, discipline, and especially the performance of the relay teams.
“Insha’Allah, all our runners will deliver their best performance, while the relay teams are determined to secure top positions and bring glory to the group,” he said.
Karachi United, the city’s largest and most organized running group, will once again take part in the marathon with full enthusiasm. Around 80 runners from the group will compete across various categories, including 15 in the full marathon, 25 in the half marathon, and 35 in the 5-kilometer run. Additionally, two relay teams will participate, aiming to showcase exceptional performance.
The group’s involvement underscores their commitment to promoting athletics and a healthy lifestyle in Karachi, setting the stage for a competitive and spirited marathon event.
