Peshawar: TESCO Chief Executive Syed Tahir Jamal has advised the public and electricity consumers to exercise special caution while using electrical appliances during the monsoon season.
In a safety message, he warned that continuous rains increase the risk of electrical accidents and electrocution, urging consumers to remain vigilant in the use of electrical installations and household equipment. He said TESCO is taking all possible measures to protect lives and property, but public cooperation is essential to prevent mishaps.
The chief executive added that TESCO teams remain on high alert during rainy conditions and are addressing complaints on an emergency basis to ensure uninterrupted service. Consumers facing any emergency or technical issue have been advised to contact their respective SDO offices or call the TESCO helpline at 092-9330600 for prompt action.
He emphasized that public safety remains TESCO’s top priority and called on citizens to adopt precautionary measures to safeguard lives and property during the rainy season.
