Dadu Police Release 2025 Performance Report

DADU: SSP Dadu Ameer Saud Magsi has released the district police’s annual performance report for 2025, highlighting extensive operations to maintain law and order and protect public life and property.

According to the report, Dadu Police conducted 195 encounters during the year, killing three notorious dacoits and arresting 43 criminals in injured condition. Two police personnel embraced martyrdom while three others were injured in the line of duty.

Police busted 58 criminal gangs and arrested 328 accused involved in illegal weapons cases. Recovered arms included 13 Kalashnikovs, two G-3 rifles, eight SMGs, 231 pistols, one hand grenade, and 523 rounds of ammunition. In katcha, kacha, and no-go areas, 98 criminal hideouts were set on fire and destroyed.

In anti-narcotics operations, 594 drug dealers were arrested. Police seized 127 kg charas, 71 kg bhang, 370 grams of ice, 171 liters of liquor, over 9,000 packets of gutka, and more than 700 kg of gutka ingredients, with the total value exceeding Rs. 200 million.

During the year, 217 cases of obstruction in official duty were registered and 606 accused arrested. To counter a brief rise in street crime, police launched the Al-Meezan operation, bringing lawbreakers to justice. Police also recovered 232 stolen or snatched motorcycles, 25 four-wheelers, and over 100 mobile phones.

In murder cases, 186 out of 275 nominated accused were sent to jail. SSP Magsi reiterated that maintaining law and order and safeguarding citizens remain the top priority of Dadu Police.
