Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi Distributes Financial Grants to D.I. Khan, Daraban, and Kalachi Bars

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi visited Dera Ismail Khan to distribute financial grant checks provided by the federal government to support the district and tehsil bar associations. A total of PKR 4.5 million in grants was allocated for D.I. Khan, Daraban, and Kalachi bars to address their operational and financial needs.
During the ceremony, Governor Kundi handed over a PKR 2.5 million grant to the District Bar Dera Ismail Khan, received by President Qaisar Khan Mian Khail Advocate. The Tehsil Bar Daraban received a PKR 1 million grant, presented to President Gul Rehman Advocate, while Tehsil Bar Kalachi also received PKR 1 million, handed to President Yasir Khan Advocate.
Governor Kundi expressed that the financial grants would help resolve longstanding monetary challenges faced by the bar associations. He extended gratitude to the federal government and the Ministry of Law and Justice for their support.
Addressing the gathering, the governor highlighted the pivotal role of the legal fraternity in upholding the rule of law and protecting the rights of marginalized communities. He further announced that similar grants-in-aid would soon be provided to the Parwa and Paharpur Bar Associations.
Governor Kundi praised lawyers for consistently contributing to strengthening democracy and the supremacy of law in Pakistan, emphasizing their indispensable role in ensuring justice and legal representation across the province.
