Snooker is rapidly emerging as a competitive sport in Balochistan, with local talent showcasing remarkable skill. The 22-day All-Balochistan Snooker Cup featured 140 participants, culminating in a thrilling finale where Zeb Khan defeated Abbas Hazara to claim the championship.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Zeeshan Khan Panezai highlighted the role of sports in promoting discipline and healthy competition among youth. He commended the All-Balochistan Billiard and Snooker Association for nurturing talent and pledged administrative support for training programs and infrastructure development.
Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti’s district-level initiatives have strengthened sports development, enabling young players to reach their potential. Officials encouraged sustained resources, training, and competitions to ensure that Balochistan continues producing world-class athletes, fostering a vibrant sports culture across the province.
