Hyderabad: The National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) Pakistan organized its monthly progress review meeting under the Immunization Project at the NDF Hyderabad Office to assess progress achieved during December 2025 and to finalize planned activities for January 2026.
The meeting focused on reviewing field-level achievements, identifying gaps, and developing strategies to effectively engage parents of refusal and defaulter children, with the aim of improving routine immunization coverage in targeted communities.
The session was led by Mr. Haq Nawaz, Project Manager, and was attended by Mr. Abdul Majeed Mallah along with other project team members and field staff. Participants shared updates from their respective areas and discussed community engagement approaches, coordination mechanisms, and communication strategies to address vaccine hesitancy.
During the meeting, it was highlighted that NDF’s active engagement in the recent polio vaccination campaign was highly appreciated and formally acknowledged by the District Health Officer (DHO) Hyderabad. Appreciation was also extended by HELP Organization Karachi, recognizing NDF’s collaborative role and strong alliance in supporting immunization efforts at the district level.
NDF reaffirmed its commitment to supporting government-led immunization initiatives and strengthening community trust through awareness, advocacy, and inclusive outreach—especially among underserved and vulnerable populations.
