Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, said that for the first time in the province’s history, 100% of funds allocated for the development budget have been used transparently and effectively. He credited the provincial government’s planning, financial discipline, and governance for this achievement. Under his leadership, key projects such as the Quetta–Karachi National Highway and the establishment of Danish Schools have been approved, aimed at boosting the province’s socio-economic growth.
CM Bugti highlighted Balochistan’s unique challenges, including its vast geography, scattered population, and security concerns. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif praised the provincial government’s efforts in promoting development, maintaining law and order, strengthening political cohesion, and addressing public complaints through the Prime Minister Complaint Cell. He expressed satisfaction over the province’s security achievements, including the elimination of 784 terrorists through intelligence-based operations, and assured full federal support for Balochistan’s growth, stability, and public welfare.
Additionally, PM Shehbaz Sharif congratulated CM Bugti on being appointed Chief of the Bugti tribe and participating in the traditional turban ceremony. He highlighted that Bugti’s leadership would play a crucial role in political governance, tribal traditions, and social harmony, while reaffirming federal cooperation in all developmental and welfare initiatives.
