Officials Inspect Tanga Water Supply Scheme to Ensure Clean Drinking Water for Kohlu

A joint inspection of the Tanga Water Supply Scheme was conducted in Kohlu by Commandant Maiwand Brigade Colonel Farooq Ashraf and Deputy Commissioner Kohlu Azim Jan Domki to review progress on the project aimed at providing clean drinking water to urban areas.
The scheme, approved under the Balochistan Integrated Development Scheme (BIDS) at a cost of Rs1 billion, is expected to address long-standing water shortages faced by residents. Executive Engineer Public Health Engineering Niaz Baloch briefed the visiting officials on technical aspects and implementation progress, stating that the project would significantly improve access to safe drinking water upon completion.
During the visit, both officials stressed the importance of completing the project within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining high construction standards and full transparency. They directed the concerned departments to ensure quality control and efficient utilization of funds.
Lieutenant Colonel Taha Ali Khan, Wadera Rab Nawaz Jhang, SDO Ghulam Bari, and other relevant officers were also present during the inspection, reaffirming their commitment to timely execution of the project for public welfare.
