IG Sindh Chairs Review Meeting at Central Police Office

Focus on inter-departmental coordination, performance monitoring

KARACHI: Inspector General of Police Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon chaired a high-level meeting at the Central Police Office (CPO), Karachi, to review the responsibilities and overall performance of key police departments.

The meeting was attended by DIG Headquarters, and senior officers from IT, Finance, Administration, State Management, Media & Public Relations, and the IG Complaints Cell, including the respective AIGs.

During the briefing, the IG Sindh was informed in detail about the duties, working mechanisms, and performance of the Media & Public Relations Wing, IG Complaints Cell, State Management, and Administration Department.

Addressing the participants, IG Sindh Javed Alam Odho directed that coordination and mutual linkage among all departments be further strengthened to improve efficiency and service delivery. He stressed the importance of performance-based supervision and ordered a continuous monitoring and review mechanism for all sections.

The IG also instructed all departments to present practical and actionable recommendations aimed at enhancing their performance and ensuring better public service within the police organization.
